# Agent Utils (x402)

Pay-per-call utilities for AI agents. No account, no API key: call the endpoint, receive HTTP 402 with x402 payment terms, pay in USDC on Base, retry.

Payment settles only when the call succeeds (HTTP 2xx). Invalid input or upstream failure returns 4xx/5xx and the signed payment is not settled. A paid call that omits the input runs on the documented example input (header x-input-defaulted).
